It's about time

We had such a fun little vactation for the 4th of July! We went on a little road trip to New Mexico and to the cabin near Durango, Co. We love spending time there and with Landon's family. I have the BEST inlaws and it is so much fun being at the cabin for the 4th. Here are some of our festivities:

About every other year we hit up the good ol' Bar D. I have been numerous times and you would think it would get old.... but it doesn't! I love listening to the old cowboy tunes and drinking out of a tin cup. We also take the train ride around the park every time... never gets old. This year we sat in the front and Brock got to ring the bell, so monumental for him.

Brock has such a cute little imagination. He insisted on a 4th of July parade so we loaded all the kids in the wagon and marched around the cabin a couple of times while Stanton (Landon's older brother) seranaded us with God Bless America and the National Anthem.

I have a video of the next picture, but it is really long. Daxton, as mentioned numerous times before, loves his jeep and walks everywhere it in. Taylor on the other hand has a rope on the front of his walker so the other kids can pull it around! He's kinda tubby and won't do it on his own... little precious. So we tied the rope to Daxton and got lots of laughs out of it!

Daxton's first fireworks!!! They have fireworks over Vallecito Lake so we all headed over to camp out. It was so late and Daxton won't sleep in my arms.... EVER.... so i was just going to rough it with a way tired baby. Well, it was nothing short of a miracle but, he totally feel asleep in my arms watching fireworks! He is such a busy body and never wants to miss out on anything, but i guess he just threw in the towel. Ok by me!

4 Generation: Grandpa Bryant, Landon, Papa Gregg, and Daxton. They are all so wonderful and i can only hope that Daxton will grow up to be like them.

Daxton's first top dip in the stream where we like to hand out and fish. SO COLD. I wouldn't even put my feet in, but he seemed to like it... not really, but i thought he should at least have the experience.

These little boys are sooo precious. They are only about 3 weeks apart and could not be more different. Daxton is little Mr. Indepentant, wiggle worm, busy body, aggressive, never wants to miss anything type of little boy. He wears me out all ready. Whewww. Taylor on the other hand is exactly opposite of that. So sweet, cuddly, calm, cool, and delightfuly rollypollychubby. It is just amazing that at such a young age they already have such distinct personalities. Here are some pictures of them... they are SO cute. For some reason Daxton loves to be in Taylor's personal space..... like i said, a little aggresive.

And last but not least... if this picture doesn't make you crack a smile there is something wrong! We stopped in Moab to walk around on the way home. These sunglasses were in some little shop and i couldn't resist. I only wish that i would have bought them... i regret it everyday! Daxton was such a good boy on the trip which makes it so much easier for mama. I love you little baby.

A special thanks to Landon's family for once again showing up a great time! We love you and miss you!

Feeling Hungry?

Well, here are some more pictures to munch on! We finally were able to get a new camera so i have been snappin em like crazy to make up for a couple of lost weeks.

Just woke up from a nap... there is nothing like that sweet tired look like when they first wake up. Don't ya just wanna kiss on him! Yes please.

Cousin Maddie and him are gonna be best pals one of these days. She always asks me if he can talk and play yet! She can't wait. She adores him and it melts my heart. Love me some maddie girl.

When Landon's parents and sister were here we made a routine stop at Ikea. They have a huge bin of 49 cent mini stuffed creatures in the kid section so we snatched some up for the little ones. This snake has not left his sight yet. Funny how they have favorites so young! This is often how we find him... thank heavens they are washable. cute.

I put things he likes on the top front of his jeep, right above the steering wheel, and you should see him jump for it. He can really get a movin quick when i do that! He really thinks that will help him get it, but really we just get a kick out of it because he is soooo determined!

We didn't want a full size highchair so we got this Inglesina hook on chair instead.... LOVE it. It is by far one of the best purchases we have made for the little monkey to date!

Well, that is all for now. Keep scolling down because i posted a lot today!

Visiting Home

We try to get to Twin Falls every so often for some one on one time with my parents and so they can get some lovin' on time with Daxton. There is a great place to ride 4 wheelers and dirt bikes and if you take the right trail you can get to the very edge of the Snake River Canyon. Twin Falls might not be the greatest, but you can't tell me this isn't totally beautiful!

Ummm, CUTE. Just hangin' in Grandma Marcia's pretty yard.

He loves his Grandma and Grandpa! They are so fun and spoil him rotten! Grandpa even babysat while my mom and I cruised the town for a while.

"I wuv my daddy!" ~Daxton

These are the ONLY boys releated by blood in my WHOLE family... which is not small! My dad, little brother Coleton, and Daxton. It may seem small, but this picture is a total treasure!

My Very Own Jeep Commercial

This kid LOVES his jeep.... can't get enough. We were outside enjoying a nice night and he was being irresistably cute. I think we should send them to Jeep, don't you?

Mr. Busy

Lately, I have been feeling VERY busy. I love to roll, play, grab things, throw things, buck myself out of my bumbo chair, get stuck between the slats in my crib, and lots of other naughty things! I think my parents like it. I have been working SOOO hard to sit up by myself and am really close. Sometimes my mom lets me do a nose dive into the floor.

Sometimes when my mom and dad aren't looking I do funny things like crawl backwards. I can't go forward yet, but at least I am getting somewhere, right?

My mom like to dress me in silly things and then she laughs really hard and it makes me giggle! I felt really clausterphobic in this because I couldn't find my hands or feet.

My Nana, Papa, and Auntie Mimi came to visit me and it was so much fun! They love to spoil me and kiss on me. I really love them. We went shopping all day and I was such a good boy. I really like to grab things off their hangers and throw them on the floor. I especially loved this turquoise shirt and would't let it go from my steel grasp. I hope they come and visit me again soon.

I went swimming for the first time ever in my whole life! I was kinda fun but the water was a little bit cold. I sure looked cute though and can't wait to go again! Come and visit me soon because I am getting SO big.
