So do you like my awesome orange vinyl tile??

So classy isn't it??? Okay, not so much. My beautiful house is almost done and they had to come along and RUIN it with this horrid stuff. And yes i know that it doesn't look that bad in the pic with the cabinets.. but that is because there is like a inch of saw dust toning it down. I just wanna cry. BUTTTT, the cabinets are almost done and looking awesome... so that made me feel a little better. And the rock outside is fabulous! They will put the color stucco on this week and make some finishing touches. Just a couple more weeks!!! YIPPEEEEEEE!!!

So this week Landon and I will be in Memphis... aka. the birthplace of rock and blues, also where I served my mission! My awesome parents are taking us and we are going to party with Zak, Noelle, and Emrie!! It's gonna be a party. See ya'll next week. Love, peace, and chicken grease. (that's what they all say in the south)

Memory Tag!!

OK, so i don't usually do stuff like this, so your comments better be good! :)

1. Add a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. I can't wait to see what people remember.

Abandon Ship!

So we spent the 4th of July in Vallacito, CO (close to Durango, CO) at Landon's familys cabin. It is always such a party when we go there! We love it and some of our bestest memories are there. We had SUCH a blast and by the pics you might be able to tell what we did the WHOLE time there..... fish. We occasionally ate (thanks Grandma Jayne and Terisha) and rode 4 wheelers, but the majority of the time we fished our little hearts out.

The first day we were there we rented a pontoon boat and hit the glassy lake. For some reason i think that sunscreen is over rated....I am still peeling and look like i have leprosy (how about you Meg?)

The best was when my little nephew was driving the boat with his dad, Stanton (Landon's brother). He is OBSESSED with pirates. All of a sudden he is yelling "ABANDON SHIP." Well crap... that water is seriously cold. Needless to say, we are all ok and the ship made it safely back to shore without getting in the crazy cold water. We love you Brock!

Little Claudia is so cute. She is such a little daredevil and will try just about everything. What a cutie. When Uncle Landon, Papa Gregg, Stanton, and I returned from some serious fishing at the creek (which we caught a fish withing 5 seconds every time we put the line in the water... seriously) she wanted to pose with the fish. She would just barely hold the stick with 2 tiny little fingers and just giggle. Little precious.

I love this pic of Landon and his dad...

And last of all.... the casa. I can't believe how fast it is all coming together! We went yesterday and they are getting ready to stucco and inside they are done texturing the walls and getting ready for trim, doors, and paint! It all looks so great and i am getting a little anxious! We are taking donations... we will leave a jar on our front porch. jk!
