Santa

Going to see Santa today didn't go so well.....

This morning I started asking Daxton if he wanted to go see Santa and he would reply by saying, "HOHOHO, Merry Christmas," because that is what we have been teaching him to say lately (it's dang cute). Then I asked him if he wanted to sit on Santa's lap and he got this funny look on his face and started saying, "Lap? NO. Lap? NO." Well needless to say, he really didn't want to sit on his lap!

Aren't these pictures classic though? For sure.

4 Months

My little monkey then:

My little monkey now:

I is HARD to get cute pics at this age! They don't hold still for any length of time and it takes too much effort to get them to smile behind the camera! We love our little Bo. He is so sweet and totally adored by us all. Daxton gets more excited to see Bodie than anybody (which is saying a lot after you see how excited he gets to see his daddy)! Daxton loves to make him smile and bring him toys to make sure he is entertained all the time. He also makes sure that we never forget him at home if we are running errands even if he has to drag the car seat himself!

Bodie weighs in at 14 lbs 13 oz. (like the 45%) and about the same percentile for height. SO he is growing good..... never misses a meal, this kid. He has started on solids now, but I am having a hard time telling how he feels about them. He eats a little and spits out a lot, which it then ends up all over his face. I was so excited to start Daxton on solids at this age, but you quickly realize how much work it is. The only reason I started this early again is because Bo has stoped sleeping through the night (SO frustrating because he has since 2 months, until now). So we are giving it a go and hoping that it will help! He is starting to hold onto toys and play with them, grab at everything, roll over, and..... that's about it. Come on, they can only accomplish so many skills at once! He is a finger sucker so I have been trying to give him a binki more. I know that sounds crazy but, you can't take their thumb away and you can take a binki away.... so binki it is! He also won't take a bottle, the real deal ONLY. It is like I am feeding him poison when I make him take a bottle! We are working on that one.

Once again, I just can't believe how fast time has gone. These last 4 months have been wonderful and the transition to 2 kids hasn't been as hard as I thought it would be, except I look like a train when I go places. We love our little family of 4!

November

We have had a BUSY November! I can't believe how fast this time of year flies with all the holidays! WARNING: this is an extremely long post!

We have had so much fun getting together with my family this last month, especially because there are so many babies! I had a baby, my twin sister had a baby, and my little sister had twins..... so yeah, it's been a little nuts around here! This is Ty, Tyler, and Bodie. Next Christmas they will be a little over a year..... YIKES.

It's a little family tradition to all decorate the downstairs Christmas tree together. Now that we have kids we assign them to do it! All the ornaments are at the bottom of the tree this year and my mom loves it that way!

These are the oldest four grandkids: Maddie, Emrie, Ella, and Daxton. Daxton has to work extra hard to keep up with these three and will probably love when the three younger boys get a little older. But, he loves these girls to death.

They all happened to match this day.... I love love love my cute boys.

Yeah, see what I mean about a lot of babies! We all stayed at my parents house so it was just a little crazy! It is so fun to all have babies together though. Little Ava is the only girl, but that girl can already hold her own! She is such a pretty little thing.

Our family has gotten so big that it is hard to have Thanksgiving at my Grandma's house, so now we have it at the Malad (Idaho) Senior Citizens Center..... I know, AWESOME right??? :) They have a game room and piano to keep the kiddos busy which was nice.

Ahhhhh, a little brotherly (in-law) love. So sweet.

I always love seeing my sissies..... missed you Emily.

I know..... He is getting SO BIG right???? I can't believe it myself. He is so wonderful, we just love his to pieces! He is four months old this week..... HOLY COW!

Daxton is VERY into Christmas this year which has been fun. He loves his Rudolph ornament and helped put the star on the top of the tree. He is obsessed with Santa and walks around saying "HOHOHO" all the time!

We had a great Thanksgiving and have so much to be grateful for in our lives. Now onto Christmas!

These are some pictures that I had forgotten about, but just had to post them for Nana and Meme. We went to this little farm that had some cute little activities for kids. Daxton LOVED it... probably because he was with his Nana. :)

Halloweenie

Ready for another Halloween post gushing about how darling the kids were in their costumes?OK!!!

I didn't know if Daxton would catch on to the whole Halloween thing this year, but he did..... QUICKLY, especially when all he had to do was hold out his bucket and people would give him candy! But boy howdy, we have a lot of candy now... especially suckers, Daxtons candy of choice. He was quite the little tiger. We have been practicing his growl for months now, but do you think he growled for one single person? NO. He clams up around people. :)

Our street had a little party and it included hayrides for all the little kiddies. Ella and Maddie were able to come and they had a blast!

Ready to trick or treat for the first time!!!!

We also had a ward trunk or treat. Daxton is a tiger, Bodie is a monkey, I am a zebra, and Landon was the zoo keeper. I figure I probably only have a few good years where I can dress my family up in "themes" before the boys start begging to be superheros, so I am going to make the most of it!

Cutest little monkey I have ever seen!!!

In their Halloweenie jammies. Cute, cute boys.

What do you do with all your kids' candy??? Let them eat it.... you eat it.... hide it.... throw it away?????

Three Months

Ummmm, where in the heck did October go and how in the world is my BABY already 3 months old????!!!!!! Kinda freaking out here! We were in Hawaii for the first two weeks of October and since we have been back we have been super busy so I feel like October never existed. Good thing I have this little munchkin to help me keep track of time.

Yup, three months old and his cheeks are getting chubbier every single day! He has had a nasty ear infection in both ears, but is starting to return to his happy little self. Unfortunately, sleeping thrrough the night has been compropised. SAD. Hopefully he will get back to his old ways soon. I am not feeding him, but he waking up a couple of times. He is starting to babble a lot and blow bubbles! Cutie patootie.... it looks like he wants to eat you in this picture!

Look, I can lift up my big noggin! He is starting to roll from front to back a lot. Of course it is not on purpose, but still I am a proud momma.

We just adore our little monkey! Happy three months little guy!

2 Months

Well, he is almost three months now that I am finally getting around to this post! OOPS. He just had his 2 months check up so I have a good excuse for putting it off. :) I absolutely ADORE this little boy. I thought that Daxton was a good baby, and he was, but Bodie.... he is really a good baby! He is so easy going and just loves any attention at all. I feel mom guilt sometimes because Daxton takes up so much time and attention that Bodie gets the shaft a lot. He is such a special little guy and I almost can't remember what life was like without him. We all just love him to pieces.

Bodie weighed in at a whopping 13 lbs at his 2 months checkup! WHAT!??? He is such a chunk. My doctor said that they like babies to double their weight by 4 months... well don't worry, we about have that covered already! He is a great eater so I am not suprised. AND... (don't be jealous moms) but since about two months he has been sleeping all the way through the night. And not like 8 hours... like almost 12!!! I know.... told you he was awesome. Daxton took a lot of sweat and tears to sleep through the night, so this is a welcome suprise. I guess Bodie's vice is naps... he is not the greatest napper. Oh well, that just takes time.

Bodie is such a happy little guy. He will smile for just about anyone.

Daxton is obsessed with Bo-ee (that's how he says it), or he calls him Guy a lot. I think because I call him Little Guy. He usually walks up to him and says "Hi Guy!!!" It's cute. Daxton is always trying to lay next to him and read him books, make him smile, hold him, or just play with him. Daxton has been the best big brother and never once (honestly) been mean or cruel to him. I know that soon enough they will be fighting over everything, but they are so sweet right now! This picture is for all of you who thought they looked alike.... yeah, they so don't, not at all!

This was Bodie's first smile!!! Don't you just wanna kiss him! I love his little bald head ( he is starting to sprout some hair finally) , little brown eyes, and yummy lips!

Love you little guy!

Hawaii, Trip #3

Landon has been doing a lot of work for the Hawaii office (Layton Construction). Sometimes he has to go for weeks at a time and they are nice enough to let me come with! He works normal hours, but we squeeze in all we can in the evenings and weekends. We had so much fun just relaxing and being outside when everybody at home was getting snowed on! No complaining here. Last time we went we saw all of the touristy sights and such so this time we just hung out at the beach and the pool. OK by me... I even have a nasty October sunburn to prove it!

Our hotel had fun activites for kids, including Talapia fishing. Here is Daxton's FIRST fish!! How cute is that! He was so proud, and so was dad.

Landon is a trooper and tried paddle boarding for the first time. He has a tendency to catch onto things pretty quickly and this was no exception! He did awesome and had lots of fun. I didn't try... I have turned into a wussy, plus I watched some of Shark Week not long ago..... yikes!

Bodie is awesome. Seriously, sweet as sugar and the best baby on the planet. He is such a trooper and spend MOST of his days in the carseat. I have been making it up to him by holding him LOTS and LOTS.

This was the view from our condo! I know, right!!!! It was beautiful.

Regardless of how amazing Hawaii is, it is ALWAYS good to be home!

Bodie's Room

Here you go mom! I have been waiting and waiting for Bodie's backordered bedding to arrive and it finally has! I still have a bit more work to do and accessories to get, but we are loving his room! I love that I have nine months to think about exactly how I want it and then see it all come together. It isn't perfect, but we are getting there!

CUTE Boys

I am just feeling pretty lucky these days. My boys spoil me. Bodie is a wonderful little baby and Daxton is just fully of yummy hugs and kisses. Here are a few silly pics for our far away family.
