having a BOY!!!!!!
Yeah, for some reason I felt anxiety about posting that, but so glad it's finally out there! I am about 18 weeks and due.... you'll never guess.... on Christmas Day. Boy, have the stars just aligned for us! Landon and I are so so so (times a million) excited. Thanks especially to all those who hung in there with us during these past couple of years, you mean the world to us and this little guy will have so many people to love and love him back. Here is a picture from my ultrasound today. This may be the only time you get to see the package so enjoy!

Oh Dana! I just started bawling. I'm so so so (times a million) excited for you too. When are you having a shower?! Name the day and I'm there.
IT IS A TRUE MIRACLE!!!! I can't believe this is all happening! First you get pregnant, then your due on Christmas Day with the best gift ever and it happens to be a boy!!!! There are too many girls in the family and Heavenly Father decided it was the right one to send a boy! I can't wait to meet him. He must be one special dude. CONGRADULATIONS! I love you!

Just read your good news on your sister's blog so I had to come and say a big congrats!! Let me tell you- the journey of infertility is long and hard but from it you gain so much extra joy and value in motherhood. You will find that you don't feel the need to complain about the little things (cause you'll remember the times you would've killed to be in the position to complain) and you'll soak up every little second with your little guy. So so happy for you. Your best days are ahead of you still- so much to look forward to!

I can't believe I was away for my computer for one night and I missed the posting of my little nephew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He looks just perfect. :) I am so glad it is out in the open now so I don't have to worry about who I am telling. I am so excited I get to have a front row seat!!!!!

Hey Dana! This is Emily Brown. I read about this on Ashley's blog and wandered on over here. Congratulations!!! I am so happy for you. It took us a long time to get our little miracle, so I'm extra excited for others in the same boat. Very exciting!

So...when we used to live together-clear back when, haha, you wrote me a little note and on that note you included this scripture:D&C 78:17-18. You said that it is your fave scripture and that you didn't know why, but for some reason you felt like you needed to share that with me...
At the time I thought, okay sweet, and tucked it into my scriptures.
Well... over the past few years I cannot tell you how many times when I was faced with some really tough trials and decisions that I would open my scriptures and see that little note you wrote me and read those verses. It has become my favorite scipture. Those verses have helped me more than you will ever know, Dana.
It brings tears to my eyes writing this, I am so glad for the good example you were to me and that you were close enough to the Spirit to share that scripture with me, you didn't know why at the time, but the Lord did. He knew, years later, I would find peace and answers to my prayers from the little note you wrote me.

Oh Dana, I can't even express how happy I am for you and Landon!!! I was just reading a friends (who has had a difficult time getting pregnant) blog and she just announced that she was pregnant. Next was your blog. I thought, how cool would that be if Dana was pregnant. Such an awesome surprise!

Yes, I must say that Dad and I are THRILLED!!!!! to get to welcome this little dude into our family! We are so happy the wait for parenthood is over for you two and it couldn't be more exciting to have it be a boy. Spoiling him will be so fun for all of us.
