You could sit him in front of a mirror ALL day and he would just talk to himself non-stop. It's one of our favorite activities. I am not sure if he knows it is him, but it's funny to watch him get all bashful when he smiles at himself.
He sleeps like this 90% of the time. With his little arm folded under his face and his binki (which you can barely see in this picture) tucked right in the arm fold. So cute. I could just watch him sleep for hours. Yeah, and i do swaddle him SO tight. We are trying to wean him from swaddling right now. It's not going so well. I heard that you are supposed to stop swaddling them around 3-4 months for gross motor skill development. Hmmmm, i'm working on it!
We visited Noelle and Zak in Rexburg over the weekend. Poor Emrie gets her two cousins mixed up. They are they same age and their names are Daxton and Jaxton. Poor thing, so confusing for a 2 year old! We can't get her to say Daxton for ANYTHING! It's adorable though.
He LOVES his Star and Bug. They are his first little friends. He smiles at them like they are real people and talks to them and it sounds like he is really trying to conversate! Thank goodness for his little buddies so mommy can get things done.
Oh, i just love this picture. He is getting really good at lifting his head during tummy time and it makes for some pretty cute pictures. I think he is gonna be my blue eyed boy... except his right eye has some big brown spots in it.... kinda unique.
Other things i love right now:
He gets bags under his eyes when he gets tired... thanks to me.
He is just starting to giggle.
He loves to stare at and watch the TV. Oops. I won't be making that a habit.
He prefers the left side... i won't explain any further. Can you say lopsided? :)
There are too many things to name right now, but i think i included most of it. We are having fun at home, but i CANNOT wait for spring! It can't get here fast enough.

he is sooo cute! I want to meet the little man :) let's plan something and get together....soon! Even if it's during the day, I'm not working or going to school this semester. I would love to get together for lunch or something sometime!
Cute! My favorite is how he sleeps! So adorable. And I agree: Where does the time go? My baby will be ONE in TWO MONTHS! Mentally, I still feel like my baby should be Daxton's age sometimes!
Haha! Sorry about the lop-sided issue... my sister-in-law had that problem and he eventually quit the other side altogether which slowed her whole milk production and weaned him earlier than she wanted... so I don't know what on earth you'd do about that... but maybe you could put something sweet on the other side to see if he'll take it more... (????)
Precious little guy! Oh I love him. I love the one of him looking up on his tummy. I need to hear some of those giggles!
He's the most adorable little boy! I just want to snuggle him!
How are you guys? We thought about calling to chat today, but it's kinda Easter today and didn't know if you guys had family in town. anyway- we were thinking of you :)
