We love it when Landon's family comes to visit! His brother Stanton and his cute family came and we had so much fun! We just pack our days full of shopping, playing, and eating!
This is just a random picture of Daxton and Dad playing with the new beloved soccer ball! Look at that kicking form.... we have a future athlete on our hands!
We visited City Creek in downtown SLC and it was AMAZING! We spent a good hour at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory eating way too many carmel apples and candy. The kids all got to pick out a toy at the Disney store, which was insanely busy, but fun. We shopped until we dropped and it was great!
Nordstrom had a cute little playhouse that we stopped at for a little break. Taylor and Daxton had so much fun exploring. These two are SO cute together!
Bedheads!!!
We love you Stanton, Carly, Brock, Claudia, Estelle, and Taylor! Come visit again SOON!!!

Bodie- 7 Months
Look at this precious little thing!!! He is just scruptious. My sister, Noelle at www.photographybynoelle.blogspot.com , took these pics when we were visiting her in Rexburg and I just love them. I just can't believe he is 7 (almost 8) months now! We have been switching computers so I haven't blogged in forever, SORRY! We have been enjoying some really nice weather and really busy weekends!
He is gotten really busy this last month. He is rolling all over, sitting, sprouting teeth, saying "dada" and some other little things, sleeping like a ROCKSTAR (8-7:30) and finally napping well, he really wants to crawl but it is still going to be a while, and eating so much! He is only taking bottles now and loves his solid food. I just love this little man. He is ALWAYS happy and the wiggiliest little person. Ella (my neice) always says that Bodie is flapping his wings (think snow angel, double time)!

Daxton was feeling left out and wanted in some pics so we decided to take some with him and mama. Daxton is growing up so much, I can't believe it! He talks my ear off all day and says the cutest things. He has such good manners and is always saying, "thank you mama", "love you mama", "please mama". He is a precious little thing. He has been living the nice weather and rediscovering his love for the outdoors.

What we have been up to.....
It has been a weird winter. No snow, major inversions, warmish days. Nonetheless, it is STILL winter and we have been feeling bored and cooped up. This is what we do to take up our days.
Snuggle with daddy.

Play Just Dance 3. Don't let Landon fool you.... he kicks my dancing behind at this game.

Play at Kangaroo Zoo for Emrie's birthday. Daxton is a daredevil. He LOVES the big adult slides that shoot you down at the speed of light. It makes me laugh because once upon a time I used to be like that.... an now I am afraid of everything. :)
What the??? Daxton is SO silly these days. He love to wear hats, any hat, around all day. He is obbsessed with his little cows that came with his tractor, and would DIE if he lost his little key that he holds ALL day (it's an old mailbox key on a key ring). He makes me laugh so hard with all the little things he loves and what keeps him entertained.
Play in the 2 inches of snow we have gotten all winter.
Go to church. So handsome.
Play at home in our slippers..... lots of slipper days! And watch Lion King..... or "wion kin" at our house. He thinks he is "imba" (Simba) now and growls all the time.
Ride bikes and scooters in the garage.
And yes folks..... POTTY TRAIN! Daxton suprises me every day how big and smart and old he is. He caught on to potty training in almost no time. I am so proud of him. We are still working on it, but he is doing awesome! He has to have book "like dada."

Hang out with my sistas.
6 Months
Welp, it's official. My little Bo is 6 months old! I can't believe it. This little munchkin keeps us on our toes but he is also a little slice of heaven. He has the warmest, friendliest, yummiest smile on earth! He is so goofy and loves to giggle, smile, and squeal. We love his deep voice, happy dark brown eyes, and huge kissable lips.... his soft cheeks aren't too bad either! He is also a tad lazy (compared to Daxton). At 6 months Daxton was starting to crawl, sat well, rolled all over, etc. Well Bodie, he doesn't do ANY of that! He has rolled twice, but he doesn't act interested in doing it again. He is sitting well, but still usually ends up with carpet burn on his face. Crawl.... yeah right! I can't keep the little guy on his tummy for like 5 seconds. The past couple of days Bodie pretty much screams his little head off when I leave his sight.... awesome. Don't love that. Oh well! He eats like a champ and loves pretty much anything I feed him, except peaches. He weighs in at 16.5 lbs. (31%) and 27 inches (71%). Here is what we have been up to lately!

Doesn't he look like a little turtle? Skinny little neck and round ol' head. This pic sorta cracks me up! It is close to impossible to get a picture of them both smiling. So we usually settle for something like this.
Daddy time is the BEST time. I love how both boys just about worship the ground their dad walks on. I know I do.
This is the very first time he rolled. I totally missed it too! Sad day. I was eating breakfast and went to look at him because he was fussing and looky there- on his tummy!

Christmas 2011.... a little late!
Am I a slacker?? Um, yes. Every day I think about getting this post put together and then I think of something else I would rather do, which is about ANYTHING else! :)
We had such a fun Christmas. Daxton really got into it this year and that made it so much fun! He was always singing Christmas tunes, talking about Santa, and completely obbsessed with all the fun things going on. We tried to do lots of fun things with him so that he could really enjoy the season too. Thanksgiving Point is really close to our house and we heard that they had Santa's reindeer there to visit. To say that he LOVVVEEEEDDDDD the reindeer would be this years understatement! He is like his dad, like anything with big ol' antlers.

We went to New Mexico this year for Christmas to spend it with Landon's family. There are always lots of fun traditions and parties to go to when we visit. We spend Christmas Eve with one of Landon's uncles and his family. Yummy food, a great program, and a visit from Santa!

Christmas morning was so fun for Daxton! His Aunt Meme let him sleep in her room while we were there so we was waking up at like 4 or 5 in the morning. I am still tired! Anyway, so we were up EARLY to see what Santa brought. He loves his new Thomas the Train track, LOVES it. Infact, we have never taken it down. Good job Santa.

Nana and Papa got him a new tricycle! It is the cutest dang thing I have ever seen! It is like a little road rally/Harley lookin' bike. Adorable.

All gussied in Christmas duds for church. I really loved Christmas on a Sunday this year. It was a great way to focus on Christ and what Christmas is all about.

Goofy little googely-eyed guy!

Landon's grandpa has a tractor and had been wanting to take Daxton on it for a long time and it finally worked out. If you know Daxton at all, you know that anything having to do with tractors is like sweet HEAVEN for him. So this was a real treat! His grandparent just left on a mission to Florida so this was a sweet moment for them to spend together.

And finally, we always have a party with Landon's mom's family. It's always a great time. They cook an excellent meal and we have a white elephant gift exchange.
The kids waiting patiently to open their gifts (except for Daxton). I guess he just couldn't wait one....more......second!

Megan (aka, Meme or Landon's sister) works for the theaters in town as a secretary so she can schedule the theaters for early in the morning if she wants. So we all got loaded up for a 9am showing of the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie! It was Daxton's first movie theater experience and he loved it! He just sat there and watched the whole thing, with popcorn of course. The kid could love on popcorn alone.
